A one-day training course on the digital transformation framework for businesses took place in Da Nang on Tuesday featuring 3 topics: digital transformation strategies in sectors and fields of Viet Nam and Da Nang in particular; basic digital transformation framework for businesses; experience exchanges in implementing corporate digital transformation.

Mr. Tran Ngoc Thach, the Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications, Chief of the municipal Digital Transformation Office, said that Da Nang boasts many favourable conditions in the development of digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI) in all activities. The city has more than 35,000 businesses, of which 99.9% are small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), this is also the mainstay of Da Nang's economy, which prompts the municipal administration to pay special heed to supporting businesses.

Da Nang can easily make a breakthrough in the field of digital transformation thanks to the fact that SMEs have a flexible management apparatus, their investment capital is not too large and they are not immediately affected by fluctuations of the market.

In addition, Mr. Thach also mentioned digital transformation strategies in industries and fields of the city according to specific roadmaps of the National Digital Transformation Programme by 2025, with a vision towards 2030 and projects and programmes to guide and support digital transformation for businesses in the city.
