Bids invited for 4 non-subsidised bus routes in Da Nang
The Da Nang Department of Transport has just assigned the local Traffic Lights and Public Transport Management Centre to invite bids for the operation of four new non-subsidised bus routes in the city.

Specifically, the first bidding package includes the Da Nang International Airport – Sun World Ba Na Hills Tourist Area route (No.3) and the Han River Port – Da Nang High-Tech Park route (No.14).
In particular, the bus route No. 3 has a distance of 25 km. It will operate from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm daily and run every 15 and 60 minutes, with a minimum number of 8 buses on the route.
As for the route No.14, the starting point of Da Nang International Airport will operate from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, whilst the starting point of the Sun World Ba Na Hills Tourist Area will operate from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm.
The route has a distance of 26.1 km, and it will run every 15 minutes with the minimum number of 10 vehicles on the route.
The second bidding package includes the Oncology Hospital - Pham Hung route (No.9), with a distance of 16 km, and the Oncology Hospital - the Viet Nam-Korea University (No.13), with a distance of 19 km.
The two routes will run every 15 minutes from 5:30 am to 7:00 pm every day, with the minimum number of 7 buses on the route.
The capacity profile opening session will take place at the Da Nang Traffic Signal and Public Transport Center at 9:00 am on October 30.
Accordingly, the 4 non-subsidised bus routes have a contract implementation period of 62 months from the date of contract signing. After this time, the municipal Department of Transport will evaluate the contract implementation situation to consider extending it for a maximum of 5 additional years.
