Vice Chairman Cuong acknowledged and highly appreciated the great efforts made by local departments and agencies in ensuring the success of the event. He also requested these units to promote achieved results, learn from experience, and propose solutions to overcome difficulties for effective organisational work.

The municipal Department of Tourism was asked to complete reports, resolve problems, and coordinate with relevant departments, agencies and branches to soon develop a specific organisational plan for the event in 2024, determining a suitable time to welcome more tourists to the city.

According to a report released by the Department of Tourism, the Da Nang Golf Tourism Festival is a highlight, meeting the orientation of building Da Nang into a leading high-quality tourism and service destination in the region, a city of festivals and events, and an international conference centre.  

Thanks to this, many types of high-end tourism products were developed, whilst the market segments of high-spending tourists, and MICE and golf tourists were exploited.

Within the framework of the Da Nang Golf Tourism Festival and the BRG Open Golf Championship Da Nang 2023, 1,200 visitors experienced the golf exhibition space at the APEC Sculpture Park. Golf competitions attracted 4,000 viewers directly at the golf course, and more than 50,000 views on social platforms.

The festival promoted Da Nang widely in domestic and international media with more than 340 articles written about the event. Nearly 50,000 audiences from businesses and golfers watched the tournament online on six live broadcast platforms.

Information related to Da Nang and the tournament was promoted on Twitter, and LinkedIn by Asian Tour, and to more than 80,000 members on the Vhandcicap system by VGS Group.

In addition, the festival was held during the four-day-long break for National Day (September 2), so it attracted a large number of domestic and international tourists.

The BRG Open Golf Championship Da Nang 2023 created an opportunity for Da Nang and Vietnamese golfers to compete and learn competition experience from professional golfers in the region, as well as for the local authorities and businesses to update trend to serve the development of golf tourism and golf industry in the city in the near future.
