On Saturday, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha attended the announcement ceremony of the Da Nang Master Plan for the 2021 - 2030 period, with a vision to 2050.

Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung and representatives of ministries, national government agencies, provincial and municipal authorities, foreign diplomatic agencies, and national agencies based in the city were also among attendees.

On the side of Da Nang, at the municipal level, Party Committee Secretary and Head of the delegation of National Assembly deputies Nguyen Van Quang, Party Committee Deputy Secretary cum People's Council Chairman  Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, People's Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh and representatives of associations and domestic and foreign businesses operating in Da Nang also attended the event.

The ceremony to announce the Da Nang Master Plan for the 2021 - 2030 period, with a vision to 2050, was held by the municipal People's Committee at the Da Nang Administrative Centre and broadcast online in order to publicise information about the Master Plan so that agencies, localities, business communities and residents can know and implement it.

The Master Plan was built up in a unified manner, in sync with Viet Nam’s socio-economic development strategy, the national strategy on green growth and sustainable development, linking scientifically with Resolution No. 26 dated November 3, 2022 by the Politburo on socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security in the North Central and Central Coastal regions by 2030, with a vision to 2045.

At the same time, the Master Plan fully and creatively applies the viewpoints and development orientations identified in Resolution No. 43 dated January 24, 2019 by the Politburo on the construction and development of Da Nang until 2030, with a vision toward 2045.

The content of the Master Plan clearly states Da Nang’s viewpoints, goals and development directions by the end of the planning period as well as a vision to 2050, concretizing the viewpoints and goals of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and regional security issued by the Politburo on the Da Nang construction and development stipulated in Resolution No. 43 and maintaining connectivity and synchronization in development orientations in the city's sectors and fields, as well as promoting the city’s potentials and strengths.

At the announcement ceremony, the city’s administration announced a number of tasks to realise the Da Nang Master Plan for the 2021 - 2030 period, with a vision toward 2050 in order to orient planning steps in the coming time.

At the same time, the Da Nang government awarded investment registration certificates and investment approval decisions for 7 projects, six of which were domestically invested with a total investment capital of more than VND 9,300 billion.

The municipal People's Committee will also organise an exhibition of images and information about Da Nang Master Plan for the 2021 - 2030 period, with a vision to 2050 at the lobby of the Da Nang Administrative Center from November 26 to December 1.
