Da Nang will continue enhancing business and investment environment and boosting administrative reform in the years ahead.
Municipal Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang made a commitment at the opening ceremony of the ‘Meet Da Nang 2024’ programme held in the city on Friday.

Delivering his conclusion speech, Secretary Quang highlighted the significance of the ‘Meet Da Nang 2024’ in helping the city promote its image, as well as share and listen to multi-dimensional opinions from central ministries and branches, diplomatic representative agencies, international organisations, and non-governmental organisations.
He remarked that the event provided a good chance for the business community and the city to unlock resources for cooperation and international integration, attract investment, expand tourism and trade markets, and strengthen cooperation in many spheres, all contributing to fostering the city’s socio-economic development in the near future.
He added, all opinions at the event were an important basis for Da Nang to build mechanisms, policies, planning and orientation as well as have closer direction and administration in the time to come.
He also underlined important results from the organisation of the ‘Meet Da Nang 2024’. In particular, through field trips and information shared in conference programme, foreign businesses and investors better understood the city’s potential, advantages, development goals and demands for international cooperation, especially the fields that the city was appealing for investment.
On behalf of the city's leaders, Party chief Quang affirmed that the city will create favourable conditions for Da Nang's foreign affairs and international integration activities to be effectively organised. The purpose is to connect Da Nang with the world, attract investment, and expand cooperation in tourism, trade, science and technology, and innovation.
In addition, the city will fully prepare planning and infrastructure conditions, especially land funds associated with synchronous infrastructure in industrial zones and clusters, in a bid to welcome a new wave of investment.
Besides, the city will prioritise enhancing the business investment environment, boosting administrative reforms, and simplifying investment procedures inside and outside industrial parks, and the city’s HI-tech Park.
Moreover, the focus will be on promoting the development of high-quality human resources to meet the increasing requirements of businesses, especially those involving in the microchips and semiconductor industries.
Mr. Quang also took the opportunity to urge relevant units to coordinate with ADB and USAID to soon develop plans to implement the signed Memoranda of Understanding.
He also asked the Authority of the Da Nang High-Tech Park and Industrial Parks to support the South Korean-based KP Aero Industries Company to soon deploy the KP VINA aviation components factory project in the Da Nang High-Tech Park.
The city leader voiced his hope that, with the city's determination and close coordination of authorities and businesses, in the coming time, foreign affairs and international integration activities in general, and investment capital attraction activities in particular, will be organised effectively, contributing practically to the city’s sustainable development.
