In detail, the value added tax collection reached VND 601 billion, equal to 14.1% of the estimate, an increase of 29.5%. The reason for the increase in revenue was due to the end of the year, close to the Lunar New Year, so consumer demand went up
At the same time, some works and projects were accelerated for timely handover, leading to some businesses making more tax payments over the same period.

Special consumption tax collection reached VND 297 billion, equal to 15.3% of the estimate, up by 13%. Corporate income tax collection was VND 731 billion, equal to 38.8% of the estimate, an increase of 62.4%. Revenue from taxes, fees, charges and other budget revenues reached VND 773.4 billion, equal to 13.4% of the estimate, an increase of 34.8%. Personal income tax collection recorded an increase of 24.4% to hit VND 368 billion, equal to 16.2% of the estimate.

VND 97 billion was generated from rnvironmental protection tax collection, equal to 9.1% of the estimate, up by 84.7%. The reason was that some businesses increased imported gasoline and oil output and because transportation, postal and delivery activities increased sharply at the end of the year to serve consumers.

In January 2024, the Da Nang Tax Department completed 51 inspections and tests, reaching 3.22% of the target assigned by the General Department of Taxation. The amount proposed to be handled through inspection and examination is VND 41.5 billion.
