Matches in the 20^th round of the 2014 V-League took place at stadiums across the country on Sunday 6 July.

SHB Da Nang recorded their fourth consecutive victory in a dramatic 3-4 away win over Quang Ninh (QN).

SHB DN opened the scoring in the 13^th minute through midfielder Adrian Valentic.  However, the visitors’ advantage did not last long as Vu Minh Tuan managed to equalise the score for QN in the 40^th minute.

SHB DN continued taking control of the game in the second half, and their players Bernardo and Ngoc Thang scored in the 47^th and 51^st minutes respectively.  In the 87^th minute, QN’s defender Trong Nghia scored which narrowed the gap to 2-3.  Then, in the very last minute of second-half stoppage time, midfielder Vu Phong increased the score to 4-2 for the visitors.  QN’s midfielder Peter scored a late goal to help his team narrow the gap to 3-4, but SHB DN hung on to win the match.

In the other matches, An Giang played out a 1-1 draw against Hai Phong at the Long Xuyen Stadium, whilst Quang Nam suffered a 2-3 home defeat to Thanh Hoa.  Dong Nai lost 1-3 to Song Lam Nghe An at home, while Binh Duong had an easy 4-1 home win over Hoang Anh Gia Lai.  Ha Noi T&T drew 3-3 against Dong Tam Long An at the Hang Day Stadium.

As a result, Binh Duong lead the league with 39 points, followed by Ha Noi T&T also on 39 and Thanh Hoa on 36.  SHB DN still lie in 4^th place with 32.

SHB DN will next play at home to Hai Phong on Saturday 19 July at 4.30pm.
