Winners of writing contest about Traffic Culture announced
An awards ceremony was held in Da Nang on Wednesday to announce the winners of the ‘Traffic Culture’ writing contest which was launched 3 months ago.
Organised by the municipal Department of Information and Communications, the contest attracted a total of over 100 entries from local amateur and professional reporters competing in categories of commentaries, interviews, reflections, reportages and portrait reportages.
The first prize went to Mr Le Hoang Hiep from the Da Nang Newspaper and Mrs Tran Le Nguyet Que from the Da Nang ICT Magazine for their entry entitled ‘Dad, Why Did You Go Through a Red Light?’.
Reporter Dinh Van Nga from the Da Nang Police Newspaper took second prize with his series of articles themed ‘Keeping Track of Dumper Trucks’. In addition, 2 third and 3 consolation prizes were awarded to other outstanding entrants.
