Da Nang's Ba Na Hills Resort has been named one of the top five best resorts in Viet Nam by the National Administration of Tourism.

The Sun Group, the developer of the resort, said the venue had been in annual awards of the administration for the second consecutive year.

A spokesperson of the group said the award would not only affirm the prestige, quality of service and the growth of the resort, but would also help to attract even more domestic and foreign visitors to Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole..

Over recent years, the resort has continuously introduced innovations to improve its facilities and infrastructure to make it more attractive to visitors from both home and abroad.

Currently, a France Glimpse Week is providing visitors deep insight into the French culture in this venue.

The resort - located at an altitude of 1,487m above the sea level southwest of Da Nang - comprises a resort, restaurant and hotel, which offer entertainment, tourism and shopping opportunities and other activities. The resort's cable car has been ranked third among the 11 most impressive cable cars in the world by British newspaper The Telegraph.
