A creative photo contest, entitled ‘Impressions and Feelings about Da Nang’s Urban Infrastructure’, has been launched in the city. 

The event has been jointly organised by the Da Nang University of Architecture and the city’s office of the Rapid Planning Project named ‘Sustainable Infrastructure, Environmental and Resource Management For Highly Dynamic Metropolises’.

Funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, the contest is open to all over-18-year-old domestic and foreign individuals who are living and working anywhere in Viet Nam.

Entries must reflect the special existing charactersitics of Da Nang’s urban infrastructure system, with a focus on introducing water resources, wastewater systems, solid waste disposal, energy, agriculture, and urban food in the city.

Each contestant should send a maximum of 3 single photos all with information about the location and main theme of each picture.  Entries should be sent to http://rapidplanningphoto2016@gmail.com before 30 November.

The awards ceremony will be held on 9 December.

The first prize is 10 million VND, with a second prize of 5 million VND and a third prize of 2 million VND.  In addition, there will be many consolation prizes for other outstanding entries.
