The Management Board of the Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Tourism Beaches has recently released a video clip entitled ‘Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Beaches’ at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-WsV52sgBw.  It advertises the beautiful images of the Son Tra jungle, and local beaches, to visitors from both home and abroad.

The opening scenes from the video clip feauture the amazing beauty of the magical Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara statue at the Linh Ung Pagoda, the thousand-year-old banyan tree, the Monkey Mountain, the Ban Co (Chess Board) Peak, and the Dong Dinh Museum.

The clip becomes more vibrant with melodious musical background accompanied by the natural sounds of birds singing.  It also shows a red-shanked douc langur, as well as sea wave surfing.

The scenes of the Son Tra Peninsular from above are followed by the bustling atmosphere at some cultural and sports activities on local beaches, including the Barefoot Run, and paragliding and dancing performances.

Watching the video will help viewers discover the daily lives of local residents at the seaside city.  In the early morning and late afternoon, locals often do physical exercise on local beaches, or soon-to-be-married couples have their wedding photographs taken at the East Sea Park.  All these scenes show the beauty of Da Nang’s beaches, and leave a deep impression on domestic and foreign visitors.

Ms Vo Thi Thuy Duong, the video’s maker, said that the 4-minute-long video with magnificent scenes from above showcases the vast space of the Son Tra forest, and the impressive beauty of local beaches.  The video has been made by modern equipment such as specialist camera lenses, advanced fly cam and compact video camera.

Mr Nguyen Duc Vu, Deputy Head of the Management Board of the Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Tourism Beaches, said that in addition to the YouTube channel, the clip will be screened at events such as tourism fairs and thematic seminars, and published on fan pages.  In addition, a focus will be on improving tourism infrastructure, launching more tours, and enhancing the quality of tour guides, in order to make the Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang beaches more popular with visitors, especially foreigners.
