Double-decker bus service makes debut in the city

The Empire Group, the developer of the Da Nang Cocobay Entertainment and Tourism Complex in Ngu Hanh Son District, has officially launched its Coco Bus Tour using open-top double-decker buses.

Each bus, with up to 45 seats, is fully equipped with touch screen system displaying tourist information in pictures with multi-languages, and a global positioning system GPS that automatically introduces the landmarks for passengers.

Under the ongoing 1st route of the Coco Bus Tour, the first batch of 12 buses cross a total of 25 scenic pick-up and drop-off points from the Da Nang International Airport to the Cocobay.  It takes visitors for a sightseeing journey of scenic attractions and glorious local beach resort views.

The 2nd route, which is expected to open next month, will feature 18 pick-up and drop-off points from the airport to the Son Tra Peninsula.

Buses will run every 30 minutes from 7.00am to 10.00pm every day.  One-way tickets for adults are priced at 250,000 VND per person, and are valid for 24 hours after activation.  The tickets can be used for both routes, and passengers can hop on or off the buses at any stops.

Interestingly, during the early weeks of its opening, Coco Bus Tour provides free transportation for both locals and visitors by 30 August, and will offer a 50% discount on tickets from early September to late November 2017. 

Addressing the launching ceremony, Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Ngoc Tuan highly praised the Empire Group for developing Cocobay- a luxurious tourism and entertainment complex of world-class caliber- in the city, and diversifying local special tourism products.
