Coach Peter Nagy said that Phuoc has produced excellent performances in the men’s 50m, 100m and 200m freestyle events at some recent international swimming tournaments.  His great rival Joseph Schooling from Singapore is a heavyweight opponent in these events.  The Hungarian coach, however, believed that his trainee would gain even more success at the forthcoming sports event.

Also at the meeting, the Department’s Director Huynh Van Hung wished the coaches and athletes good health, and hoped that the Da Nang team would make every effort to secure their remarkable achievements with 4 gold medals, 2 silver and 4 bronze they gained at the previous regional sports event.
