The event aimed to mark the 45th anniversary of the Viet Nam-India diplomatic ties, the 10th anniversary of the strategic partnership between the two countries, and the 25th anniversary of the ASEAN-India Dialogue Partnership.
Addressing the event, municipal People’s Committee Vice Chairman Nguyen Ngoc Tuan highlighted the significance of the event in raising awareness about the preservation and promotion of joint civilisation heritage values of the two countries amongst their governments, businesses and citizens. Based on their common understandings, Viet Nam and India will together develop their feasible cooperative orientations in economy, culture and education. This, therefore, will help to promote their bilateral cooperation and friendship relations in the years ahead.
The participants were introduced to culture-related connection in the past between Viet Nam and India, and each country’s efforts in preserving their cultural heritages, as well as future bilateral cooperative opportunities. In addition, some special topics about the preservation of religious architectures and handwritings in India and the Champa Kingdom of Viet Nam were represented at the event.
