The event’s organiser, the Empire Group, said the Korean rappers will be joined by Vietnamese singers Trung Quan Idol, Phuong Ly, Angela Phuong Trinh, DJ Duy Tuan and group Monstar from 9.00pm on the final day of the year until the first minutes of the New Year.

The Box Market, a cuisine and shopping zone, will offer a total of more than 100 pavilions and food courts for tourists celebrating New Year’s Eve at the biggest entertainment site in Central Viet Nam.

A 35m high crystal Christmas Tree was lit up at Cocobay Da Nang in a ceremony last Saturday to launch the 12-day festive season.

It’s the first time that the three famous Korean rappers will be performing in Viet Nam’s central region.

In June, pop idols from South Korea, including Lee Ji Suk, Han Yungyeon, Louis Choi, Yoo Myunghun, Beom Sang Gil and Kim Minkyu, also performed live as part of the activities marking the 25th anniversary of Viet Nam-South Korea diplomatic ties.
