SHB Da Nang played out a goalless away draw against bottom-of-the table Thanh Hoa in the fourth round of the 2019 V-League at the Thanh Hoa Stadium on Sunday.

In this match, SHB DN were without striker Do Merlo due to injuries, and two midfielders Nguyen Thanh Hai and Patrick Edson who were not included in a registered list of players for the match.

Coach Le Huynh Duc, therefore, arranged striker Ha Duc Chinh as central forward. However, striker Chinh was closely marked by opponent Dinh Tien Thanh, so he couldnot make the best of his skills.

As a result, during the match, Chinh only sent a header directly into the goal but the shot was not strong enough to beat Thanh Hoa’s goalkeeper Vu Tuyen Quang.

Like the visitors, the hosts did not create any scoring chances during the first half although they were marked by the presence of foreign footballers Gramoz Kurtaj and Samuel Monday.

In the 75^th minute, Thanh Hoa still were not able to take advantage of several chance although their coach Nguyen Duc Thang fielded their key stars Le Van Thang and Hoang Dinh Tung whilst SHB’s midfielder Pham Manh Hung had to leave the field due to receiving his second yellow card.

One minute later, striker Hoang Dinh Tung missed a scoring chance due to his inaccurate shot.

The game finally ended at 0-0.
