At 8.15pm on Saturday (8 June), Team News Fireworks do Brasil from Brazil opened the second competition night of the ongoing Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2019 with an impressive fireworks performance by continuously changing the intensity of the rhythm and music during their show.

Ms Alessandra Elisa Zanotto, the Brazilian team’s leader, said team chose the theme ‘Mysteries of Rivers’ for their 20-minute show.

She remarked as fireworks exploded in the sky, the audience was in the progression of a draw made with a brush in the night sky. Besides, the colour of the fireworks were chosen thinking in the reflects on the river and in the feeling suggested by cool and warm colours. The intention is to create a cathartic effect after the show leaving only a sense of peace in everyone.

 “We want the audience to immerse themselves in a peaceful and relaxing space as they enjoyed colourful fireworks like being immersed in a river” Ms Zanotto added.

The Brazilian leader emphasised although Brazil is a multi-racial and multi-cultural country and they wanted to produce a multi-colourful fireworks show, they only used the blue and green fireworks as their main colour to match the theme of the second night of ‘Buds of Life’.

Team News Fireworks do Brasil have affirmed its reputation with a spectacular fireworks performance on New Year's Eve at the Copacabana Beach in 2008. This display was then recognised as the biggest fireworks show on the barge by the World Record Academy.
