The Viet Nam – Germany cultural festival Kulturfest 2020 opened in Ha Noi on 2 October evening, on the occasion of the 30^th anniversary of German Reunification (3 October 3) and the 45^th anniversary of the Viet Nam – Germany diplomatic ties.

Co-organised by the radio The Voice of Viet Nam, the Huong Sen Group and the Viet Nam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, the event is featuring a beer festival inspired by the renowned German beer festival Oktoberfest, with visitors being given a chance to try a range of German delicacies.

Within the framework of the festival, about 200 Vietnamese and German firms will discuss how to promote bilateral ties at an economic cooperation forum, contributing to bolstering links between Viet Nam and 27 member states of the European Union – Viet Nam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA).

The festival will run till 4 October.
