The Da Nang Journalists' Association partnered with the Bao Nguyen Food and Event Company to organise a charity concert at BNF Theatre in Da Nang on 15 November evening. 

Invited reporters sharing their on-the-scene stories about rescue operation for several missing victims at a landslide site in Tra Leng Commune

Entitled ‘Beloved Quang Nam Province’, this fundraising charity concert aimed to raise funds for flood victims in Quang Nam Province.

The charity concert featured performances from famous domestic singers such as To My, Trung Quan Idol, Jang Mi, Dinh Tham, Thanh Tra, Gia Huy, Thao My, Benja Ta, Hong Minh, Xuan Phuong and Minh Anh.

In addition to immersing themselves into domestic singers' performances, the audience had the opportunity to watch reportage films about the severe damages caused by a powerful typhoon Molave triggered in the province’s Nam Tra My District in late October.

Additionally, they were told by on-the-scene reporters about choking rescue operation for missing victims at a landslide site in Tra Leng Commune, Nam Tra My District, Quang Nam Province.

Besides, a photo of a Quang Nam province boy holding a bunch of mountain vegetables and a wild bamboo shoot to support Da Nang people during the pandemic was auctioned at the charity concert. In the end, the photo was sold for 64 million VND.

As of 10pm on the same day, a combined total of 105 million VND was raised from generous donors at the event, whilst 64 million VND was collected at auction.
