The awards ceremony for a writing contest marking the 110^th year of the late President’s departure to seek ways for national salvation took place in Da Nang’s Son Tra District on Wednesday, October 27.

Launched by the Son Tra District Department of Public Security, the contest already received a total of 343 entries of police officers from the district’s wards and members of specialized police teams under the district’s Department of Public Security.

In his remarks at the awards ceremony, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Phan Minh Man, the Head of the Son Tra District Department of Public Security, highlighted the significance of the writing contest in educating local police officers about patriotism and political ideologies, as well as upholding their respect and gratitude for late President Ho Chi Minh.

Also at the ceremony, authorised by the Minister of Public Security, the Da Nang People's Committee Chairman and the Director of the municipal Public Security Department, the Son Tra District Department of Public Security presented Certificates of Merit to groups and individuals in recognition of their outstanding achievements in the fights against COVID-19 and crimes.
