The expansion of Phuoc Ninh relic site campus and the Dinh Tho Cultural House nearby in Nam Duong Ward, Hai Chau District will have been completed by late next month following approval by the municipal administration.

The total area of Phuoc Ninh relic site campus and the Dinh Tho Cultural House will increase to 1,616m2 from 776m2 as currently with a focus on building a yard dedicated to ceremonies and rituals, a one-storey ward-level cultural house, and displacing three existing households with facades onto Huynh Thuc Khang Street to make room for the upgrade.

More recently, the municipal government has decided to halt the auction of a over 2,144.7m2 land area coded A2 on the corner of Nguyen Van Linh and Hoang Dieu streets, adjacent to the existing Phuoc Ninh relic site.

The municipal Department of Construction shall assume the prime responsibility for coordinating with other relevant agencies to commence the construction of a green-covered walking garden combined with a public parking site funded by the municipal budget in the coming time.

This move aims to serve the common needs of the locals and ensure a  harmony with surrounding landscape.
