On Saturday, a photo exhibition entitled 'Hai Chau - 25 Years of Growth and Development Aspirations' was officially opened at the expanded APEC Sculpture Garden.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang Party Committee cum Chairman of the municipal People's Council Luong Nguyen Minh Triet made his attendance at the opening ceremony of the exhibition.

Co-organised by the People's Committee of Hai Chau District and the city's Cultural and Movie Centre, the on-going event features more than 100 photos which reflect the district's socio-economic development, and defence and security achievements over the past 25 years.

Also, the displayed photos showcase the beauty of the natural landscapes and people of Hai Chau District, as well as honour typical examples of good people, good deeds and patriotic emulation movements in the district.

Through the exhibition, the Hai Chau District authorities want to review the achievements the district has gained in recent years, as well as create an extra motivation for local residents to contribute to developing Da Nang into an increasingly civilized, safe and modern city in the time to come.

The exhibition runs until February 15.
