Da Nang to host amazing air balloon festival to mark resumption of international flights

As part of the celebrations for the resumption of international flights in Da Nang, an amazing air balloon festival which featues 12 multi-coloured mini balloons, 3 level 7 balloons and 2 steam balloons will take place on March 27. The event will offer unique experiences for visitors on this special day.

Co-organised by the Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Operation Joint Stock Company (AHT), the municipal Department of Tourism, the municipal Department of Culture and Sports, and Singapore Airlines, the Hot Air Balloon Festival aims to give a very warm welcome to Da Nang for international guests to enjoy their vacation in the beautiful city.

Tourists will have a chance to take scenic hot air balloon rides over beautiful Da Nang at sky adventures within set time frames. You will have an unforgetable experience after enjoying an extraordinary trip over Da Nang in a hot air balloon flight at high altitudes of 15 metres to 40 metres.

Besides, visitors to Da Nang on March 27 have the opportunity to take stunning shots of colourful hot air balloons which will fly over the APEC Sculture Garden located on Bach Dang Street. You will also watch hot air balloons brighten up the atmosphere of the city with the colorful Hot Air Balloon Paper Lantern Set between 7:00pm and 8:00pm on the same day. The event promises a big surprise for visitors with a wide array of exciting performances such as ‘Fire Dragon", blowing the bridge, and building the bridge.

The hot air balloon festival will be also attended by Miss World Viet Nam 2019 Luong Thuy Linh who represented the country in Miss World 2019 in the UK, MC Minh Quan Bui, Travel Blogger Son Doan, and Da Nang Miss Tourism 2022 Tran Nguyen Minh Thu.

First flight will depart from the Da Nang Interantional Airport to Singapore on March 27, and another one from Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, will land at the airport on the same day to mark the first day for the resumption of international flights.

The hot air balloon festival is also expected to take place in Hoi An City, Quang Nam Province, on March 25 and 26.
