As many as 1,000 students from 9 delegations of member schools of the University of Da Nang (UDN), and UDN’s affiliated training units, are participating in the 12^th Sports Festival for Da Nang University Students.

Between May 11 and 25, they are competing in 11 competitions including athletics, men's football, women's football, men's volleyball, women's volleyball, men's basketball, women’s basketball, badminton, table tennis, chess and e-sports.

The UDN-hosted biennial sports event aims to evaluate and promote physical education in schools, thereby remarkably contributing to improving physical fitness, health, and comprehensive education for students, as well as discovering and selecting sports talents for regional and national-level sports events.

Over the past years, the UDN has always paid special attention to boosting comprehensive education for students, including physical education. Therefore, UDN’s student sports delegations have always gained many outstanding achievements at sports playgrounds for students at regional and national levels.
