Following authorisation by the Da Nang government, the municipal Department of Transport will increase the frequency of the performances of Rong (Dragon) Bridge starting from early July in order to meet the growing entertainment demand from locals and visitors.

Specifically, the dragon’s head at the eastern end of the Rong Bridge will breathe fire and squirt water at 9:00pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays instead of only on weekends as presently performed.

Moreover, time for shows of fire breathing and water squirting will last longer than it took before.

Accordingly, the fire-breathing show will come in three turns with 9 times of each turn, an increase of 9 times and two minutes in all three turns as compared with previous shows.

It will be followed by the water-squirting show in 4 turns but only one time of spraying water per turn. Of which, the first 3 turns will last 20 seconds each, and the final turn will last 30 seconds, a total of 90 seconds equal to the status quo.

Additionally, lighting decorations at the bridge will be made in a bid to make fire breathing and water spraying activities more vivid and eye-catching.
