Series of Trinh Cong Son music nights dazzle audience
The first Trinh Cong Son music night will take place on Saturday at the APEC Statue Garden Park as a join collaboration between the Trung Vuong Theater and the Hai Chau District Culture and Sports Centre.

Coming to the much-awaited event, the audience will enjoy 12 immortal love songs by the late Vietnamese songwriter Trinh Cong Son such as Glass Sun, Pink Rain and Footprints of Eden.
These songs feature attractive lyrics and melodies, expressing the early life vibrations as well as the love story of the late musician.
It is known that Trinh Cong Son music programme is designed with 4 music nights, taking place continuously every Saturday night with many different themes.
In particular, the music shows recreate the life and famous songs of the late musician Trinh Cong Son.
The songs are performed by the artists of Trung Vuong Theater with modern and attractive Instrumentation and sound designs, thereby creating a new and unique Trinh space, meeting the needs of local residents and visitors to enjoy good-quality music and art.
Born in 1939, Trinh Cong Son was a prolific songwriter, composing over 600 songs which thematically range from love to human fate.
Most of the songs are about love, conveying melancholy and elements of symbolism.
His music remains popular with Vietnamese people, young and old, many years after his death in 2001.
