Most recently, the SHB Da Nang Football Club has terminated contracts with strikers Osaguna and Aboubakar Kone, and central defender Damir Memovic, all who have not yet to meet the professional requirements of the coaching board.

In its efforts to improve its performance at the ongoing V-League 2022, the club has recently signed three new foreign footballers, all from Brazil. They are central defender Walisson Maia, and strikers Erick Luis Palma and Claudir Marini Junior.

Specifically, central defender Walisson Maia has the ability to play well in many positions in the defence. He used to play for many famous football teams in Brazil such as Botafogo-SP, Coritiba FC or Ituano.

Meanwhile, forward Erick Luis Palma started his football career in 2013. He also played for many football clubs in Brazil like Bahia, Bragantino, Boa Esporte, Joinville and Oeste. After that, Erik Luis Palma moved to play for the Al Hidd Club in the Bahraini Premier League. In two recent Bahraini Premier League seasons, he contributed 5 goals for the Al Hidd Club.

Before playing for the SHB DN team, forward Claudir Marini Junior played in Indonesia and Kuwait.

All newly-recruited footballers have undergone training with SHB DN players over the past few days.

Unlike other foreign footballers, they will sign official contracts with the SHB DN Footbal Club after completing necessary procedures without probationary contracts.

It is expected that, in the next games, SHB’s coach Phan Thanh Hung will use all three new foreign footballers in a bid to increase the strength of the local team. Currently, after 9 rounds of the 2022 V-League, SHB DN were in 6th place on the ranking table with 13 points.
