The BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022 is the main highlight of the ongoing Da Nang Golf Tourism Festival 2022. As part of the Asian Development Tour system, the tournament attracted a total of 115 domestic and international golfers from all over the world to compete in 3 days from August 31 to September 2. Among them were 40 Vietnamese professional and amateur golfers who achieved some impressive results.

In the end, golfer Guxin Chen from China played amazingly through 54 holes of the Nicklaus golf course and won the championship with US$13,125 out of a total prize fund of US$75,000.

Guxin Chen's score was a total of 208 strokes with 69 strokes in the first round, 67 strokes in the second round and 72 strokes in the final round. He gained the same score as the second finisher, Lloyd Jefferson Go from the Philippines, did. However, Lloyd Jefferson Go had less luck when he teed his ball to the water on the second stroke of the first playoff hole.
