On Saturday, (the 15th day of the 8th lunar month), the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum and the Museum of Da Nang organised a series of exciting activities on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival, attracting the participation of hundreds of children citywide.

During the Fine Arts Museum-organised ‘Happy Mid-Autumn Festival’ programme, children had the opportunity to visit the exhibition space, make lanterns, decorate paper mache masks and join a confectionery party.
Meanwhile, with the desire to preserve and promote the good traditional cultural values of the nation, and create an interesting and useful playground for local children on the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival, the Museum of Da Nang organized a programme themed ‘Dung Dinh Ong Trang’.
The programme featured a number of attractive activities, including a workshop on teaching children make traditional Mid-Autumn Festival lanterns, ‘Drum Circle’ performances, the launching of a mobile library cart, shallow puppet shows, and a celebration for the Mid-Autumn Festival.
Such activities at the museums received positive feedback from parents, and at the same time encouraged children to achieve good academic results in the new school year.
