Da Nang photographers win high prizes at regional artistic photography festival
Some members of the Da Nang Artistic Photography Association have won amazing prizes at the ongoing 27th South Central Region and Highlands Artistic Photography Festival in Kon Tum Province.

Specifically, Da Nang photographer Huynh Van Truyen has won a gold medal for his photo ‘Fight against fire on the 3rd day of Tet’, whilst local photographer Ngo Van Duc has claimed a silver medal for his photo ‘Shadow’.
Also, the photos ‘In the rain’ and ‘Early Market’ respectively captured by photographers Nguyen Quang and Pham Van Phung have shared the bronze medals.
Moreover, the Da Nang Da Nang Artistic Photography Association has won the Team Award and had 30 works of its members displayed at festival.
The 27th South Central Region and Highlands Artistic Photography Festival is taking place from August 31 - September 7.
This year’s festival has received a total of 1,950 entries from around 300 amateur and professional photographers in South Central and Central Highlands regions.
The festival’s organisers have awarded 1 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze medals, along with 7 consolation prizes and 3 team prizes for outstanding entries.
Most of the entries have captured many beautiful moments about the homeland and people in the South Central Coast and Central Highlands, as well as vividly reflected production and business activities, and the preservation and promoting of cultural and social identities and traditional crafts in these localities.
