The Viet Nam Association of Photographic Artists has launched a photo contest entitled ‘Women in life’ to celebrate the Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20).

With the aim to honour the beauty of Vietnamese women in all aspects of social life, the contest is open to both professional and amateur female photographers, or women who love photography, from all over the country regardless of age, profession, or place of residence.

Entries should capture women’s moments and reflect the true beauty of Vietnamese women in daily life and all aspects of social life, ensuring cultural standards in accordance with the fine customs and traditions of the Vietnamese people.

Each entrant can submit a single photo or set of photos in colour or black and white to the contest on the website at  http://phunutrongcuocsong.vietnamphotocenter.com from now until the end of September 20.

The awards ceremony and photo exhibition are scheduled for mid-October in Ha Noi.

The works that won the Gold, Silver, Bronze and Consolation Medals will be considered for the title and participate in the annual Outstanding Photographer of the Year award of the Viet Nam Association of Photographic Artists.
