In the second half of a match against Singapore of the international friendly football tournament in Ho Chi Minh City on September 21 evening, Coach Park Hang-seo of Viet Nam released two young footballers of SHB Da Nang, namely Luong Duy Cuong and Pham Dinh Duy, into the field. Both Da Nang players have basically met Mr. Park's requirements, and of course local supporters are very proud of the two players.

Luong Duy Cuong has been playing for SHB for 5 years, and he has been considering the city as his second home.

In 2017, the Thai Nguyen Province-born player had his contract with the Ha Noi Club terminated. Fortunately, SHB’s coach Vo Phuoc recruited him. Since then, he has constantly strived and has a very fast and stable development.

The 1m81-tall player plays very well and contributes to helping Da Nang win a bronze medal at the U21 National Thanh Nien Championship 2021 Final. Soon, he catches the eye of Coach Park Hang-seo, and then gets his name in the squad winning the gold medal at the 31st SEA Games.

Of course, SHB’s coach Phan Thanh Hung confidently entered Duy Cuong's name in the first team for the V-League 2022, and he becomes the mainstay of SHB Da Nang.

Meanwhile, Da Nang’s striker Pham Dinh Duy impresses the coaching board and local fan by his intelligence, ability to speed, and inherent spirit of fire.

Duy was born in Hoa Lien Commune, Hoa Vang District, and was trained in the city’s training centre.

He was known for scoring 5 goals for SHB DN during the National Second Division Football League 2019.

That Dinh Duy is named in Viet Nam’s national men football team is an important event of the city’s football sector.

Dinh Duy's advantage is also the desire of youth. Playing for Viet Nam’s national men football team will certainly create motivation for the young player to reach new heights in the near future.

After 16 rounds in the V-League, Pham Dinh Duy scored 4 goals, equal to Tan Tai (Binh Dinh) Van Toan and Cong Phuong. That is, in terms of scoring, Duy is better than such strikers in the team as Van Quyet, Manh Dung, Tuan Hai, and Tien Linh. In the match against Singapore, Dinh Duy played more prominently than Nham Manh Dung and Tuan Hai. Thus, we fully believe that one day not far, Dinh Duy will be able to play more often in ‘the colours of the Vietnamese men football team’.

Hopefully, from the inspiration named Duy Cuong - Dinh Duy, Da Nang’s football sector, will do better in training young people, thereby promoting the development of the local sport sector.
