The event recreated the scene and taste of ancient Tet with a typical view of rural areas, namely a snapshot of Vietnamese rice-culture, bamboo plants, thatched cottage, sedge mats, copper trays, lanterns, firecrackers, and other. This brought the images of traditional culture closer to both domestic and foreign tourists.
In addition, visitors to the market had the opportunity to try traditional Vietnamese cuisines for Lunar New Year, including ‘banh chung’ (square glutinous rice cake), ‘banh tet’ (round glutinous rice cake), along with a variety of specialties across the country such as ‘bun bo Hue’ (Hue-style beef rice noodles), Quang noodles, and Saigon spring rolls, all prepared by Furama's chefs according to their own recipes
There are also calligraphy booths, and many exciting folk games.
