The Son Tra Book Fair in 2023, themed ‘Connecting knowledge’, is running in the namesake district until April 23, featuring many new activities combining the display, sales of books and attractive musical shows, all of which attract many book lovers, especially students.

The book fair highlights the presence of 28 booths owned by companies, publishers and all of the seven wards in the district.

This year, the book fair has regular activities such as displaying and trading books and stationery, serving multimedia mobile libraries and experiencing skill-training games, exhibiting paintings and photos taken by artists, photographers and students.

Besides, the fair also offers main interesting activities every day. Specifically, a cultural programme ‘Singing about Son Tra’ received a high applause by the audience.

On Thursday, there was seminar on developing ‘Reading culture’ in Son Tra District, children's arts programme. On Friday, a book-based story-telling contest exclusively for primary schools in the district and a colourful childhood arts programme took place.

The highlight is on Saturday, April 22, with contests to decorate booths and arrange arts books, introduce books and dance performances.

The Son Tra Book Fair 2023 is a highly useful and interesting playground, not only for students but also for parents and the general public to experience books-related activities and make the purchase of good-quality books and learning support tools and supplies.
