Hosted by the Da Nang Dance Artists' Association, the festival was an opportunity for professional and amateur artistes and actors in the city to perform and interact with each other. It was a useful playground for dance clubs and troupes to exchange experience in choreography, staging, and performing arts activities.
This year’s festival featured 14 contemporary, ancient, modern, Latin and samba dance performances selected from dozens of performances from dance clubs, groups, and companies across the city.
They all praised the love for the homeland and people of Da Nang, as well as reflected life and solidarity between people during the city’s socio-economic development.
As a result, the organisers awarded two A prizes, worth VND3 million each; three B prizes, valued at VND2 million each; five C prizes totalling VND5 million; and four promising prizes, worth VND800,000 each, to outstanding contestants.
