The Da Nang People’s Committee has given a nod to install three check-in models in the city, aiming to create a fresh atmosphere for both locals and tourists to celebrate the upcoming Christmas and New Year 2024.

The pinwheel model "I LOVE DANANG" will be installed on Bach Dang Street, opposite the headquarters of the Viet Nam Television Center in the Central - Highlands Region (VTV8)

Specifically, a pinwheel garden will be created at a public park on the western end of the Rong (Dragon) Bridge on Bach Dang Street, opposite the headquarters of the Viet Nam Television Center in the Central - Highlands Region (VTV8).

It will feature a total of 30 large and small-sized pinwheels alternating with lighting systems, all creating brilliant colour effects.

The pinwheels spin when there is wind, creating sparkling circles in the air, representing a city full of energy and vitality.

Along with that, the words "I LOVE DANANG" placed at the garden will be a highlight of the garden for visitors to take check-in photos, and help spread the image and brand of Da Nang as well.

The model of the colorful 2024 set will be installed opposite the Museum of Cham Sculpture.

Meanwhile, a colourful model of 2024, designed with a modern, youthful style, will be installed at the western end of the Dragon Bridge, opposite the Museum of Cham Sculpture.

Inspired by the colour background of the Danang Fantasticity logo, the model is expected to create a space full of hope and optimism in the New Year 2024 with many good things.

At the northern campus of the Dragon Bridge next to the DHC marina, a 12m high light pine tree model with LED lights will be installed, creating a friendly, modern space. Also, there will be two 3m-high Da Nang travel chatbots, surrounded by clusters of Christmas miniatures with the Da Nang tourism message "Enjoy Da Nang". The model aims to create an attractive check-in corner for both locals and residents, especially youngsters and children.

The light pine tree model will be installed at the northern campus of the Dragon Bridge in Son Tra District, next to the DHC marina.

Two check-in models of "I LOVE DANANG" pinwheels and a light pine tree will open from December 16, 2023 to January 13, 2024. Then, they will be removed for floral display in preparation for Tet 2024.

The colorful 2024 model will be displayed from December 16, 2023 until at least February 20, 2024 because it is integrated into the flower decoration model for the Lunar New Year 2024.

The municipal Department of Tourism is asked to coordinate with the Department of Construction, the Department of Transport, the Department of Culture and Sports, and authorities in Hai Chau and Son Tra districts to install the aforementioned check-in models in a bid to ensure aesthetics and safety according to regulations. The installation costs will come from the city’s tourism budget 2023.
