The awards ceremony for the Da Nang Open Table Tennis Competition 2023 for Teams and Doubles took place at the Phan Chau Trinh gymnasium on Sunday.

The event had the participation of 150 table tennis players from 26 clubs, namely Thien Phuc Sport, Hai Chau District Cultural and Sports Center, Phuc Han Dental Clinic, Joha, Da Phuoc, CKC, Anh Em, Thanh Khe Dong, Song Lam, Sona PingPong, Weekend, Hoa Phat, 3HT, Department of Health, Huy Tuan, Team Funny, Lien Chieu, Oriental, Bang Huu, Sakura, Binh Thuan, Phan Chau Trinh, Quang Thanh, Le Hong Phong, and Thu Sport and Unite.

The athletes competed in four events of AB team and CD doubles for members of table tennis clubs in Da Nang and other localities nationwide; along with EF team and EF doubles for tennis players who practice regularly at clubs in Da Nang.

In the end, the organisers awarded the first prize in the EF doubles event to Nguyen Ngoc Thai Binh and Nguyen Huu Thuan from the Bang Huu Club.

In the CD class team event, the first prize went to athletes Phan Thanh Bay and Pham Ngoc Linh from the Lien Chieu Club.

The Lien Chieu Club and the Phuc Han Dental Club won the first prizes in the EF team and the AB class team events.

The annual tournament aims to create opportunities for athletes to exchange and strengthen solidarity, as well as improve the spirit of practicing and competing in table tennis in the city in particular and the country in general.
