This will run alongside an Open Source Software education programme.

The agreement, signed on Tuesday, is part of the college’s strategy to develop its Information Technology faculty in association with local and foreign software partners.

It’s also the first Open Source Software HR deal in the central region.

Following the agreement, JPI and Evolable Asia company will jointly establish a Linux certificate recognition centre in Da Nang, boosting Open Source Software education in the central and Central Highlands regions.

To date, the city has attracted 55 FDI projects in the IT sector with a total investment of US$12 million.
Last year, the city’s IT and communication sector earned $58 million from software exports.
