On Sunday, the final round of the 2017 Open Robot Contest for Senior High School Pupils took place at Da Nang’s Phan Chau Trinh Senior High School.

In the end, the DNL joint team from the city’s Tran Phu and Phan Chau Trinh schools won the first prize.  The SPN 55 from the Nguyen Trai school, and the LQD-Inventors from the Le Duy Don Senior High School for Gifted Students, took the second and third prizes respectively.  In addition, a commendation prize was awarded to the QN-CKT joint team from the Nguyen Binh Khiem and Pham Boi Chau schools, both in Quang Nam Province.

This year’s contest, which had ‘Startups to Reach to Future’ as its theme, attracted 23 teams from 11 senior high schools in Da Nang, and 3 ones from 6 in Quang Nam Province.

It had been co-organised by the city’s Union of Science and Technology Associations, the municipal Department of Science and Technology, the Department of Education and Training, and the Youth Union.
