The kindergarden, located in downtown Thanh Khe District, will host 280 kids from 18-months to six years old with a joint curriculum from Viet Nam and Japan on how to develop basic skills for kids.
The kindergarten system includes the 1,400sq.m Selfwing Garden, which teaches practical farming skills and outdoor physical education for kids, in Hoa Xuân Eco-Urban area.
Hirai Yukiko, CEO of Selfwing Viet Nam Company, said the curriculum aims to promote basic skills and knowledge among kids and develop high-quality human resources for Da Nang in the future.
The business has set up its personal education system in Ha Noi, HCM City, and Da Nang in supporting an anticipated surge in Japanese investment into Viet Nam in the coming years.

Selfwing Viet Nam, in co-operation with Leave a Nest, an education organisation from Japan, also began a pilot project on nature research education for students at junior secondary schools in Da Nang in 2016.
According to the city’s education and training department, Da Nang has 205 kindergartens, of which 136 are private schools, but only three-year-olds are accepted due to limited nursery services for new-born babies.
Japanese language has been taught at some junior secondary schools following the city’s foreign language teaching programme for 2012-20.
