The city's university international prestige affirmed
Over recent years, the Da Nang University of Science and Technology (DUT) has made every effort to renew its educational curriculum and teaching methods in order to keep up with trends of Industry 4.0, thereby affirming the school’s international reputation for its training quality.

To date, the DUT has received the ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) certifications for its 12 training programmes.
Moreover, DUT’s 3 Vietnamese-French Training Programmes of excellent Engineers (PFIEV) have been recognised by the French commission for engineering diplomas (CTI) for meeting educational quality during the 2016-2021 period.
It has been officially accredited by the High Council for Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (HCERES) within the validity period of 5 years from 2017 - 2022.
These above-mentioned achievements have contributed to the DUT’s global prestige.
Assoc. Prof. PhD. Doan Quang Vinh, Rector of the DUT, remarked his university has focused on promoting the application of Conceive-Design-Implement-Operate (CDIO) and Project-Based Learning (PBL) methods into its training programmes.
He emphasised the highlight of these methods is to shorten training time for students, reduce time required for learning theories and enhance practice education.
“Especially, time required for learning English language will be increased in order to help university students get TOEIC 600 points of the international language competency framework B2 to seek jobs in foreign countries, or foreign-invested companies operating in the city after their graduation”, Mr Vinh added.
In addition to improving the quality of teaching and learning, DUT has paid special attention to upgrading facilities to provide the best services for teaching and learning.
In particular, the DUT made its National Quality Strategy (NQS) 4I Office debut in the city last year. As part of the launching of the new office was part of the cooperative programme with AUN-QA, the launching of the new office aimed to boost educational cooperation activities.
Currently, DUT is attaching the importance to continue renewing its training programmes in order to keep up with the latest development of science and technology, and advanced levels of foreign countries around the world.
Also, heed is being paid to enhancing the capacity of lecturers and managers, upgrading facilities, providing support equipment for teaching methods, as well as establishing cooperative relations with universities and businesses at both home and abroad.
