A science conference and technology exhibition 2020 (BKDN Techshow) took place in the Da Nang-based Phan Chau Trinh Senior High School on 5 January.

The event was co-hosted by the city’s University of Science and Technology (DUT) and the Phan Chau Trinh Senior High School. On display at the 1-day event were 74 technological products and 102 posters created by DUT students and Phan Chau Trinh school pupils.

The exhibits have been selected from the scientific research projects during the 2019-2020 academic year. The majority of them showcased high practicality in such aspects as startup activities, the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0), and smarter city.

The exhibition was visited by municipal People’s Committee Vice Chairman Dang Viet Dung. He highly lauded the great efforts made by the DUT in bringing scientific and technological researches to the Phan Chau Trinh School.

He took the opportunity to ask the city’s Department of Education and Training to expand this model into other senior high schools citywide in order to promote the spirit of scientific research and technological applications amongst senior high school pupils, thereby nurturing their passion for science and technology.
