As many as 250 scholars in Da Nang and its neighbours are gathering at the hall of the University of Da Nang for a two-day training course on the applications and important role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the sake of smart city development.

Taking place on 26 and 27 December, the ongoing event is co-organised by the Da Nang International Institute of Technology (DNIIT) under the University of Da Nang, the Da Nang Union of Science and Technology Associations, Da Nang University of Science and Technology, and other relevant units.

The training course aims to develop human resources in the field of AI for Da Nang, hereby helping the city realise its goal of building a smarter city in the near future.

During the training course, the participants are introduced to AI-related basic but practical knowledge by experienced lecturers from the University of Da Nang, the Viet Nam National University - Ha Noi, and the Viet Nam Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

Also, they listen to reports on Da Nang's development strategies for building a smarter city in the near future by experts from Da Nang Department of Information and Communications.
