Following the Wednesday approval from Director of the University of Da Nang (UD) Assoc. Prof. PhD. Nguyen Ngoc Vu, all students from UD’s higher education institutions and its affiliated units will come back to school for in-person learning from 1 March.

UD demands that the organisation of events that feature unnecessary mass gatherings at its member schools be limited. If necessary, the event’s organisers must ensure safety measures against COVID-19 in line with Viet Nam's national government-mandated pandemic prevention and control measures.

In particular, a shift from in-person to online working session in an appropriate and effective manner amidst the COVID-19 threat is highly recommended.

All UD managerial and teaching staff and students are required to exceptionally vigilant and highly alert against the deadly coronavirus, and follow the all-people medical declaration regulations. In particular, those who have arrived in / returned to Da Nang for work and study after Tet breaks must declare their health status.

Those who are found skipping compulsory medical declaration procedures, making fraudulent declarations, and ignoring medical quarantine and testing rules shall be punished in line with Vietnamese laws.
