Registration open for Startup Wheel 2021
Registration is now open for the Startup Wheel 2021 which is the largest and most prestigious annual startup competition in Viet Nam for young people who are passionate about startups.
The event was co-hosted by the Business Startup Support Centre (BSSC) and the Young Businesspeople Association (YBA) under the Viet Nam Youth Federation of Ho Chi Minh City.
Startup Wheel 2021 is open to startups and young entrepreneurs in Viet Nam and all around the world.
Startup Wheel Vietnam Track aims at individuals and teams, plus startup businesses with their operation period not more than 5 years from the date of being granted their business registration certificate, along with scientific researchers whose research works are feasible, highly applicable and eligible for commercialisation, and international students and former students wanting to start a business in Viet Nam.
Meanwhile, those who are eligible for participating in Startup Wheel International Track include individuals/ teams having a business model but have not established their own companies, plus enterprises with an innovative business model, researchers/ scientists possessing science researches at universities that could be commercialised, along with students/ international students with an innovative and feasible business model, and international startups wanting to do their businesses and expand their operations into Viet Nam.
The contest is running from March to August, and it is now open for registration until midnight on 25 April.

First launched in 2013, the 6-month-long competition is also one of the earliest and longest run competitions in Viet Nam.
Startup Wheel 2020 attracted nearly 2,000 Vietnamese and international startups from 20 countries around the world.
Of special note, the Umbalena app, developed by Da Nang-based VOOC Technology company, won the top prize at the Viet Nam Startup Wheel 2020.
