The second session of the Da Nang People's Council (PC) in its 10^th tenure for the 2021 - 2026 term has passed a policy to waive tuition fees for pupils in public schools from early childhood education to primary and secondary education levels for the 2021–2022 school year.

The new policy has been issued in accordance with the guidance from the Ministry of Education on providing practical support for families with school-age children amid COVID-19 crisis.

The Da Nang government plans to grant close to VND 87.5 billion to cover tuition fees for students in these public schools for the 2021–2022 school year.
