Themed ‘Technological solutions in the field of Fintech & Blockchain’, the Google Developer Group DevFest Mien Trung 2021 contest, the most anticipated event this year in the GDG community, is calling for submissions nationwide.

The event is jointly operated by the Da Nang Business Incubator (DNES), GDG MienTrung and Vicoland Group with the companionship of the municipal Department of Science and Technology and the National Innovation Centre (NIC).

Eligible contestants must be developers from IT/ Technology companies and organisations, IT - specialised students from IT universities, colleges and centers, tech lovers and anyone who wants to challenge themselves. In particular, female IT-specialised students and programmers are encouraged to join the contest.

As for registration, entrants can register as an individual or as a team of 3 - 5 members. Individuals can receive Organizing Committee’s invitation to join community group GDG MienTrung to find suitable teammates.

Regarding the contest’s timelines, all registrations must be submitted at https://bit.ly/devfest21 no later than October 14.

Online Hackathon Week will be slated from October 23 – 30 with the participation of 20 most outstanding teams.

The top 10 teams will advance to the Demo Day, which will be live-streamed on Youtube channel of programme on October 31.

Within the framework of the contest, the Orientation Conference on Fintech & Blockchain will take place on September 25.
