A combined total of 30 outstanding entries have been selected to enter the final round of the Da Nang Scientific Research Contest 2021 for Students which is slated to take place in late November in the city.

Twenty-one of the selected entries involve in the fields of natural sciences, engineering and technology sciences, pharmaceutical and medical sciences, and agricultural sciences. Meanwhile, the remaining 9 entries focus on humanities and social sciences.

All finalist entries boast their creativeness and high applicability. Most notable among them are digital transformation solutions in tourism, and ventilators for COVID-19 treatment.

Launched in January by the Da Nang Youth Union and the municipal Department of Science and Technology, the municipal-level Scientific Research Contest 2021 for Students have to date received 150 entries of students from 9 universities and junior colleges across Da Nang.
