3 teachers in Da Nang honoured with 'Elite Teacher' title from State President
The Da Nang Department of Education and Training, on Tuesday, held a ceremony at the city-based Nguyen Khuyen Junior and Senior High School to honour outstanding teachers in the 2021 - 2022 academic year in recognition of their dedication and devotion to the city’s education sector.

Present at the event were municipal People's Council Vice Chairwoman Cao Thi Huyen Tran and People's Committee Vice Chairwoman Ngo Thi Kim Yen.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairwoman Yen highly praised educational establishments and teaching staff for their great devotion to the city’s education sector.
Mrs. Yen also lauded great efforts made by the education sector over the past 2 years, and the high sense of consensus between pupils and their parents in overcoming difficulties to maintain undisrupted learning and achieve many important results and achievements.
During the ceremony, three teachers were honoured with the title of 'Elite Teacher' from the State President, whilst 24 others were awarded the title of ‘Typical Da Nang Teacher’.
In addition, three collectives and individuals were presented with emulation flags and Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister. Four individuals received the title of ‘Municipal Emulation Fighter’, and 18 collectives were presented with emulation flags from the municipal People's Committee.
142 prize winners at the Universal Postal Union (UPU) International Letter-Writing Contest, the Science and Technology Contest, the municipal-level Youth Informatics Contest, and the municipal-level competition for excellent students in the 2020-2021and 2021-2022 school years received Certificates of Merit from the municipal People's Committee.
Also, many excellent preschoolers, studious pupils who are disabled and are children of martyrs, war invalids and poor families, and 400 others received the ‘All-round Excellent Pupils’ titles in the 2020-2021 academic year.
