A scientific seminar on automation, digital transformation, promoting digital economy development and a programme to honour Viet Nam I4.0 Awards 2022 took place on Friday.

The event was a joint collaboration among the Viet Nam Union of Science and Technology Association has coordinated with the Viet Nam Automation Association, the Institute of Innovation and Digital Transformation with the patronage of the ministries of Industry and Trade, Science and Technology and Information and Communications.

This is the first year that the Viet Nam I4.0 Awards programme has been organised to evaluate the effectiveness of digital transformation and innovation in organisations and businesses, and promote digital transformation in Vietnamese localities and businesses, heading towards promoting the growth of the digital economy.

The programme features 3 award categories: the top industrial enterprises 4.0; the top science - technology and innovation organisations/enterprises; the top enterprises with smart digital products and Industry 4.0 technology solutions.

As reported, 35 businesses with 48 digital products and solutions were honoured  At the programme, the Da Nang People's Committee was one of the 6 Vietnamese cities and provinces to be awarded with certificates of merit for their typical achievements in implementing the Industry 4.0 and digital transformation.
